After our PLS World Cup Competition, we had a chat with Mike on how it feels to have won and his thoughts on the World Cup.
Had you heard of PLS Solicitors before?
“No, I hadn’t at all. I got told about the competition by my brother actually. He knew I was moving house and spotted this on social media, which I’m not really on, so he sent it to me!”
What does it feel like to win?
“For me, it’s fantastic, especially with everything that’s been going on, it’s been quite exhausting for me at the moment. It was a bit of a shock actually, I was just running out when you told me and it only kind of hit me as I was driving and then I was just smiling for about 10 – 15 minutes, it was really nice.”
Do you have a message for PLS?
“It’s just awesome. I know it’s a cliché but I’ve never actually won anything myself, so thank you. Something as simple as this, you don’t realise the impact it can have on an individual and especially with everything that’s going on, it’s just amazing so I am really appreciative.”
Do you have any predictions for the world cup?
“It’s a bit of a messy word cup if I’m being honest with you. France is looking pretty good and I think Argentina is going to win it because they are just ruthless at the moment. They’re just playing like a Sunday league, just hacking everyone.”
Who do you support?
“Because come from Birmingham, if I am going to be watching, it’ll either be the Blues or Aston Villa.”
