2021 was another jam-packed year for PLS and when we look back at everything that we achieved we can’t quite believe we fitted it all in. Early on in 2021 during lockdown, we wanted to keep our teams engaged and motivated, so we created ‘Lockdown Wars’ and our staff all engaged remotely in a number of fun quizzes for some healthy competition, to keep spirits up. This trend continued throughout the year with additional themed games and competitions and in spring, we promoted our enhanced Employee Assistance Programme, all centred around the wellbeing of our staff.
We had some fantastic digital milestones across the year, running our first Podcast with our MD, then our first TV advertisement, and going on to launch our brand new website.
In August, we were proud to achieve our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and following this, we began our Lexcel assessments in November.
We were also award-winning! Scooping the ‘Best Use of Social Media’ at the British Conveyancing Awards back in May, where we were also highly commended for our Innovation in creating our AskPLS app. We are delighted to be shortlisted once again this year, this time in the ‘Best Client Relationship Team’ category.
It wasn’t all fun and games though with the Stamp Duty holidays causing unprecedented work for our teams, we’re not going to lie it really was tough, but we got through it together.
We would like to thank every single staff member, our customers, and all our partners who helped us navigate 2021. We have so much more planned for 2022 and we look forward to sharing our continued success with you as the year unfolds.
