PLS SOLICITORS PROUDLY SPONSORS TEAM GB’s PARA ICE HOCKEY TEAM TO COMPETE AT THIS YEAR’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Great Britain’s Para Ice Hockey Team will participate in this year’s World Championships in Berlin from Sunday 17 November with the support of PLS Solicitors.
As two-year jersey sponsors for the Manchester Mayhem Para Ice Hockey Team, PLS was given the opportunity to sponsor Team GB’s jerseys.
Proud sponsor Dan Hickey explains “As sponsors of Manchester Mayhem we have seen, first-hand, the dedication and hard work these athletes put into their challenging sport. They really are an inspiration to those who have been fortunate to watch or play.”
He continues: “We also know the fundraising challenges they face and we hope this sponsorship can help the squad focus their attention on the ice to do us proud in representing our country at the World Championships in November.”
To get to the World Championships is expensive and each player and their teams are tasked with raising enough funds to enable them to compete on the world stage. This is only possible with the support of sponsors and fundraising events.

Manchester Mayhem has three players participating in this year’s championships (Anthony Booth, Karl Nicholson, and Dean Lahan) and Peggy Assinck acting as Assistant Coach. Peggy is a member of the Candian Women’s National Para Ice Hockey Team.
Karl Nicholson, captain of the Manchester Mayhem and alternate captain for GB is just as impressed: “It’s always a proud moment to don brand new shirts for a tournament.
