<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We&#8217;re looking for an experienced conveyancing professional to join our Risk, Compliance &amp; Training (RCT) team as a<strong> Lead Conveyancing Trainer</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, sharing knowledge and improving standards across a business, but is ready to step away from the pressures of managing their own caseload, client expectations, exchange deadlines and billing targets.</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Location: </strong>Altrincham (WA14 5UW), <strong>hybrid </strong>– must be able to commit to office attendance<strong> at least once per week or fortnight</strong> to deliver in person training. Beneficial if you’re also able to visit our Liverpool city centre (L2 2PP) occasionally. </li>



<li><strong>Hours:</strong> Full-time, Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:00 (part time considered – minimum of 4 days/28 hours p/w)</li>



<li><strong>Salary:</strong> £45-55k DOE FTE</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Working as part of a close-knit and highly experienced team, you&#8217;ll design and deliver engaging training programmes across our Residential Conveyancing, Post Completion and wider legal support teams. You&#8217;ll help identify knowledge gaps, create practical guidance and training materials, deliver both face-to-face and online training, and play a key role in supporting the continual development of colleagues across the business.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You&#8217;ll join a collaborative team of experienced legal and compliance professionals who work closely together to identify trends, improve processes, reduce risk and continuously raise standards across the firm.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What You’ll Be Doing:</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Design and deliver on-going innovative training programmes across a variety of formats, including in person sessions, webinars, workshops and e-learning</li>



<li>Deliver an engaging and effective induction programme to ensure new starters feel fully prepared and ready to start their new career with PLS</li>



<li>Create training materials, guidance notes, online learning content and knowledge resources</li>



<li>Conduct training needs analysis, identifying trends, recurring technical queries and knowledge gaps, then developing targeted training solutions</li>



<li>Supporting training across residential conveyancing, post completion, compliance, systems and processes, as well as training on other skills including customer service, accounts, and compliance</li>



<li>Continuous monitoring and evaluation of training programme effectiveness to identify opportunities to improve engagement, knowledge retention, performance and ROI</li>



<li>Ensure we remain fully compliant with regards to training needs as required by governing bodies such as the SRA, CQS and CPD by providing relevant and timely training</li>



<li>Mentor any Apprentices, ensuring they are on track with their studies and assignments, and liaising with the apprenticeship provider</li>



<li>Preparing, reviewing and amending correspondence, templates, standard documents and other documentation as requested</li>



<li>Researching legal updates, regulatory changes and best practice developments to ensure training remains current and relevant</li>



<li>Build strong relationships with managers and colleagues across the business to understand development needs and drive positive change</li>



<li>Work closely with colleagues across the Risk, Compliance &amp; Training team to support continual improvement initiatives</li>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What We’re Looking For:</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>At least <strong>5 years&#8217; experience handling conveyancing cases</strong></li>



<li><strong>Experience coaching, mentoring, supporting or developing colleagues</strong> is essential for this role, so we’re open to applications from Conveyancing Trainers/Managers, Senior/Technical Conveyancers, Team Leaders, or similar</li>



<li><strong>Strong technical knowledge</strong> across a range of residential conveyancing transactions, including more complex matters</li>



<li><strong>New build</strong> conveyancing experience would be highly advantageous, although strong candidates without this experience will still be considered</li>



<li>A <strong>confident and engaging communicator </strong>who is comfortable presenting to groups and delivering training sessions</li>



<li>The ability to <strong>explain technical concepts </strong>in a practical, easy-to-understand way</li>



<li><strong>Strong written communication skills</strong> with the ability to produce clear guidance, procedures and training materials</li>



<li>A <strong>proactive approach</strong> to identifying knowledge gaps, training needs and opportunities for improvement</li>



<li><strong>Qualified Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer</strong> status would be advantageous but is not essential</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We&#8217;re looking for a <strong>qualified conveyancer</strong> to join our Risk, Compliance &amp; Training (RCT) team as a Senior Conveyancing Technical Specialist.</p>

<li><strong>Location: </strong>Altrincham (WA14 5UW) or Liverpool (L2 2PP) <strong>hybrid</strong> – we will prioritise applicants who are able to commit to hybrid working out of either of these locations but remain open to candidates looking for <strong>remote work.</strong> (There will be a 1 week office based onboarding period for remote workers. All applicants must currently reside in mainland UK and hold a valid right to work in the UK)</li>



<li><strong>Hours</strong>: <strong>Full-time</strong>, Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:00 (<strong>part time</strong> considered – minimum of 4 days/28 hours p/w)</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Working as part of a close-knit and highly experienced team, you&#8217;ll review some of the more complex aspects of a file, provide practical guidance to case handlers and post completion colleagues, get involved in specific aspects of the case, identify recurring themes and trends, and contribute to the continual improvement of our processes and service standards.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></h2>

<li>Providing technical guidance and support on conveyancing matters, including more complex cases and new build</li>



<li>Responding to queries from case handlers and post completion team members,</li>



<li>Reviewing cases and advising on the most appropriate next steps</li>



<li>Supporting the Post Completions team with requisitions and registration queries</li>



<li>Assisting with AML, source of funds and data protection related queries</li>



<li>Helping identify trends, recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement</li>



<li>Contributing to the development and refinement of internal guidance, processes and procedures</li>



<li>Supporting investigations into technical issues and escalated matters where needed</li>



<li>Working closely with colleagues across the Risk, Compliance &amp; Training team to share knowledge and best practic</li>



<li>Where necessary taking the required action on a case which may involve occasionally liaising with clients and third parties</li>

<li><strong>Qualified Solicitor</strong>, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer (Level 6 CLC or equivalent)</li>



<li>At least <strong>5 years&#8217; experience running your own conveyancing caseload</strong></li>



<li><strong>Strong technical knowledge</strong> across a range of residential conveyancing transactions, including <strong>more complex matters</strong></li>



<li>Experience handling transactions involving areas such as <strong>new build</strong>, first registration and title restrictions</li>



<li>A <strong>solid understanding of the post completion process</strong>, including Land Registry applications and requisitions</li>



<li>Knowledge of AML, source of funds and <strong>wider compliance considerations</strong> within conveyancing</li>



<li>The ability to <strong>analyse issues, investigate problems </strong>and provide practical solutions</li>



<li><strong>Comfortable communicating technical advice</strong> and guidance to colleagues</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As a Post Completion Assistant, you’ll manage post-completion matters from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness across a high-volume caseload. Your responsibilities will include:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Preparing and submitting all types of Land Registry applications</li>



<li>Dealing confidently with Land Registry requisitions and technical queries</li>



<li>Amending documentation and ensuring accurate scanning and filing</li>



<li>Registering charges with Companies House within strict statutory timeframes</li>



<li>Liaising with clients, lenders, HM Land Registry, solicitors and third parties</li>



<li>Acting as a point of contact for post-completion queries and escalations</li>



<li>Supporting and mentoring junior and mid-level post-completion team members</li>



<li>Assisting with workload allocation, prioritisation and inbox management</li>



<li>Escalating complex matters where appropriate to ensure risks are managed</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This role requires <strong>established post-completion experience</strong> and the confidence to deal with technical work independently.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>We’d love to hear from you if you have:</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Significant <strong>experience in a post-completion</strong> role (<strong>minimum 6 months’</strong> established experience post-training/probation)</li>



<li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>Land Registry processes and applications</strong></li>



<li><strong>Experience handling requisitions</strong> and understanding what to expect, even if you haven’t seen every scenario</li>



<li>Experience with a <strong>broad range of case types</strong> is preferred – experience with <strong>New Build transactions is essential</strong>.</li>



<li>Excellent <strong>attention to detail</strong> and the ability to <strong>manage a busy, time-sensitive caseload</strong></li>



<li>Confidence using <strong>case management systems</strong> and the <strong>Land Registry Portal</strong></li>



<li>A <strong>professional, confident approach</strong> to phone-based queries and escalations</li>



<li>The ability to support and mentor less experienced team members</li>



<li>Experience with systems such as <strong>InfoTrack</strong> is desirable but not essential</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Location: </strong>Altrincham, WA14 5UW, or Liverpool, L3 2PP (office-based for first 3 months, then hybrid: 2 days office, 3 days WFH)</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Hours: </strong>Full-time, Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Start Date: </strong>ASAP (flexible)</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Salary: </strong>up to £30k base + competitive uncapped bonus (£7k+ once established)</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>

<li>Manage a caseload of Residential transactions from start to finish</li>



<li>Liaise with clients, developers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.</li>



<li>Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence.</li>



<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions on our CMS.</li>



<li>Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client queries/concerns.</li>



<li>Work to exchange and revenue targets with a focus on five-star client feedback</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Experience supporting residential conveyancing transactions</li>



<li>Must have <strong>hands-on experience </strong>with: <strong>Source of Funds </strong>checks (reviewing bank statements, conducting checks directly)</li>



<li><strong>Searches and sale enquiries </strong>(confident in writing up reports, not just ordering)</li>



<li>Strong <strong>communication </strong>and <strong>relationship-building </strong>skills</li>



<li><strong>Excellent telephone manner </strong>&#8211; confident in explaining the conveyancing process to clients</li>



<li>Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused</li>



<li>Familiar with <strong>case management systems </strong>(Proclaim a plus)</li>



<li>Passionate about delivering great service and achieving results</li>
