Prior to joining PLS Solicitors I was a Retail Manager, but I wanted to make a real difference to employee’s lives, so I decided on a career in HR. Since joining PLS Solicitors in 2019, I feel I have had an opportunity to achieve my goals from working closely with Sarah Millican, Head of HR and our Executive Board, in making strategic decisions for talent within our firm, to implementing our vision for making PLS a ‘great place to work’.

My colleagues tell me I am approachable, hard-working and have a ‘can do’ attitude!

Outside of work I love socialising, walking and bringing out my creative side in painting, arts and crafts.

Before I joined PLS Solicitors in 2016, I worked at Manpower Strategic Clients where I began my career in human resources. Since then it really has been a whirlwind of a journey and I have never looked back. 

As my career developed, it was clear that my early days of managing people and teams would stand me in good stead for my role today. 

My team say that I am kind and caring and that I always put others before myself. I believe that one of the necessary qualities as an HR lead is to face challenges head on and not shy away from difficult tasks – this is the only way our firm and our people can progress.

Outside of PLS

As well as being a busy mum running round after two teenage boys, I enjoy getting out in the fresh air and walking our dog – an imperial Shih Tzu called Frankie. He is such a character and is a big part of our family.

Kieran is an experienced Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor who has worked for the firm since August 2014. When Kieran joined PLS Solicitors, he was firstly involved in all aspects of residential property. Shortly after he became an integral part of a team which handled residential and commercial property, new build acquisitions and acting for lenders and borrowers on all forms of bridging and development finance products.

Kieran studied at Liverpool John Moores University, Edge Hill University and later the University of Law in Manchester where he obtained his LLB Law Degree and LPC qualifications. Kieran qualified as a solicitor in June 2017 and has been responsible for the Secured Lending & Real Estate Department since its launch in 2018. Kieran has been an Associated Director at the firm since June 2021.

Rebecca is experienced in managing complaints and claims, creating and implementing new policies and procedures and provides day to day advise to our legal teams on all elements of client or case related risks, including anti-money laundering.

Rebecca is an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with over 12 years’ experience in residential conveyancing with an emphasis on newbuild conveyancing. Rebecca graduated with a 2:1 in Law and a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2010.

Rebecca joined PLS in 2017 as an Associate Director managing a team within our newbuild department before becoming one of the founding members of the Risk, Compliance and Training (RCT) team.

Ruminder qualified as a solicitor in 2012 at a leading firm in the South before moving to London to join a boutique residential property firm in the West End. He joined PLS as an Associate Director in 2015.
