To our fellow residential conveyancing firms – we would like to help at no charge to you or your clients.

Over the past week, we have come across some cases where clients have not been able to visit their conveyancers’ office which has resulted in a slow down or complete hold on the transaction. In support of our industry and the market generally, we are offering our service free of charge during these hard times to firms who are maybe less able to work remotely.

If you have clients who cannot exchange or complete their transaction because they would otherwise have to visit the office to sign, we would love to try to help. Our Portal and Apps allow clients to sign documents securely on line. We can accept ID and other documents through our Portal. Whilst incoming post is still being sent to us by third parties we are currently able to have all our incoming mail scanned onto our case management system to then be actioned on line remotely. Our staff are able to work from home.

Obviously, we are mindful there may be other logistical problems with completing. But if you think we can help you or your clients in any way please feel free to have a chat with us to see if we can assist in any way.

We need to pull together to make sure that our sector does not slow down. Subject to our own capacity, we want to support those transactions in the system so that we keep everyone moving. These are challenging times for everyone but PLS is here to support you if we can.
